Who we are
BNG Sourced by Green Acres BNG is the national BNG sourcing service of Green Acres BNG, Catraw Farm, Stannington, Morpeth, NE61 6AZ. Green Acres BNG is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact us about your data at hello@bngsourced.co.uk.
What we collect

Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To source BNG units for you, match supply to requirements, make introductions and respond to enquiries: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in running a sourcing service.
- To contact you about your enquiry by email or phone: legitimate interests.
- To send the monthly England BNG supply index and occasional updates: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
- To understand which pages and campaigns generate enquiries: legitimate interests, using the attribution data above.
- To keep records of introductions and introduction fees: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
- Green Acres BNG, which operates the service and its own habitat banks.
- BNG providers, landowners and habitat bank operators whose supply may match your requirement, so they can confirm availability and terms. We share only what is needed to make the introduction and your client’s identity only with your permission where you have referred a project.
- Developers whose requirement matches your site, where you have registered supply.
- Service providers acting on our instructions: our web host, Fluent Forms (stores submissions within this website), FluentSMTP and Google Workspace (send email) and postcodes.io (converts a postcode into a local planning authority and region; the postcode only is sent).
- Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.
How long we keep it

Where it is stored
On this website’s hosting and in Google Workspace, in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask for it in a portable format and withdraw consent to marketing. Children
This service is for businesses and professionals and is not aimed at children.

We update this notice when our processing changes and show the date at the top.
