Cookies and site data
What this website stores on your device, why and how to control it.

Summary
This site uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. It stores a small amount of session data to tag form submissions, uses a spam-prevention cookie on forms and will use analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner once analytics is enabled.
Session data used for form attribution
During your visit the site stores in your browser’s session storage: a session reference number (format BNGS-YYMMDD-XXXX), the first page you landed on, the referring site, any campaign (UTM) parameters and whether you have already seen the exit-intent or slide-in offer. This lets us match an enquiry to the page and campaign it came from and stops the offers appearing twice. Session storage is deleted when you close the browser tab and is never shared with other sites.
Cookies set by this site
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fluent Forms nonce and spam-prevention cookies | Validate that a form was submitted from this site and not by a bot | Strictly necessary | Session |
| WordPress login cookies | Only set for site administrators who log in | Strictly necessary | Session to 14 days |
| Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) | Understand how the site is used: pages viewed, tool steps completed, forms submitted. No personal data from forms is sent to analytics | Analytics, only with your consent | Up to 2 years |
Analytics is not yet enabled on this site. When it is, a banner with equal Accept and Reject buttons will appear, analytics cookies will be set only if you accept and you will be able to change your choice from the cookie settings link in the footer. Google Consent Mode v2 will be used so that no analytics cookies are set before consent.
Third-party content
The hero video and all images are served from this site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested. The sourcing check sends your postcode to postcodes.io to find the local planning authority; no cookie is set by that service.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop forms submitting. Clearing session storage removes the attribution data but does not affect your ability to use the site.
